The Education Development Foundation of SMU of Guangdong was founded on November 8, 2016. It is a non-governmental organization initiated by Southern Medical University and registered with the Guangdong Provincial Civil Administration Bureau. The foundation’s mission is to accept and manage donations to Southern Medical University from alumni and all sectors of society to promote the development of school education. All donations towards the foundation, in accordance with the pertinent regulations, are eligible for pre-tax deductions.

The Foundation will widely engage with all sectors of society to broaden the channels to raise school running funds, and actively seek the support from alumni and communities at home and abroad for the development of the school. All donations are mainly used for learning and teaching, scientific research, student development, cultural inheritance and so on.

We welcome contributions from all alumni and all sectors of society to support the development of education at SMU!
